8. Prepare for Network Connections
To use your R Class server on a network, you will need the following information:
• LAN station address (see system label)
• System name (or hostname)
• Internet Protocol (IP) address.
The LAN station address is provided on the server's system label located on the
inside of the front panel peripheral door. Write the number down and give it to your
system administrator.
The hostname and IP address must be obtained from your system administrator.
