The functions of the display keys change depending on the particular operating
situation. Example:

Correcting incorrect entries

You can correct incorrect characters in the text by navigating to the incorrect
entry using the control key. You can then:

Press

Insert a character next to the cursor
u
Overwrite the (flashing) character when entering the time and date etc.

Menu guidance

Your telephone's functions are accessed using a menu that has a number of lev-
els.
Main menu (first menu level)

When the handset is in idle status, press v to open the main menu.
The main menu functions are shown in the display as a list with colour icons
and names.
SMS
Open a context-dependent menu.
Delete key: delete one character at a time from right to left.
Go back one menu level or cancel operation.
Copy number into directory.
Open the last number redial list.
Press the matching key on the handset.
Enter digits or letters.
X
to delete the character to the left of the cursor
