Small computer system interface (SCSI) messages

If you receive a SCSI error message when running the SCSISelect Utility program,
one or more of the following might be causing the problem:
v A failing SCSI device (adapter or drive)
v An improper SCSI configuration

Failed On system-board keyboard test failed
Failed On system-board pointing device test failed.
Any message
Failed In PCI slot n
(where n is the PCI slot number in which the
failing Ethernet adapter is installed)
On system board
Failed Any failure message
Action
1. Verify that the
keyboard cable is
connected to the
correct port (for
example, verify that it
is not connected to
the mouse port).
2. If the problem
remains, replace the
keyboard cable.
3. Replace the
keyboard.
4. Call for service.

pointing device
(mouse) cable is
properly connected to
the correct port.
2. Replace the pointing
device.
3. Call for service.
Refer to the information
