8. Apply a thin coat of Pro Honda White
Lithium Grease or an equivalent, to the
sealing surface.
9. Assemble the air cleaner and holder.
Insert the pin (5) to the hole (6), and the air
cleaner retaining bolt through the assembly.

10. Insert the pin in the air cleaner housing hole
(7) and install the assembly into the air
cleaner housing (8) while aligning the tab (9)
on the air cleaner and the reference mark (10)
on the air cleaner housing. Tighten the
retaining bolt securely.
Carefully position the sealing flange of the
element to prevent dirt intrusion.
NOTICE
Improper installation of the air cleaner assembly
may allow dirt and dust to enter the engine and
cause rapid wear of the piston rings and cylinder.
