Installing an optional DVD drive cage

The IBM System x3620 M3 DVD drive enablement kit is used to install an optical
drive cage in an IBM System x3620 M3 server. See http://www.ibm.com/servers/
eserver/serverproven/compat/us/ for a list of supported optional devices. To order a
DVD drive enablement kit, contact your IBM marketing representative or authorized
reseller.
The IBM System x3620 M3 DVD drive enablement kit contains the following
components:
v One DVD cable
v One optical drive cage
v One retention bracket
To install the optional DVD drive cage, complete the following steps:
1. Read the safety information that begins on page vii and "Installation guidelines"
2. Turn off the server and peripheral devices, and disconnect the power cord and
