4. Removing the manual feed separation
pad
1) Remove the manual feed pickup roller.
(See IV-B-1 'Removing the Multifeeder
Tray.')
2) Remove the manual feed separation pad

5. Removing the multifeeder paper sen-
sor
1) Remove the right cover. (See I-A-5 'Re-
moving the Right Cover.')
3) Disconnect the connector [1].
4) Remove the claws [2], and detach the
multifeeder paper sensor [3].

6. Remove the multifeeder pickup sole-
noid
1) Remove the left rail and the power sup-
ply switch rod. (see III-A-1 'Removing the
Main Motor.')
2) Disconnect the connector [1].
