When the power is switched ON, the CPU
reads the voltage of pin 74 (ANI6J. If the
voltage is higher than the specified value,
the CPU assumes a fixing unit error before
power-ON and cuts the current to the
fixing roller heater.

3. Fixing roller heater start sequence
The sequence of operations from power-on
to standby is as follows:
The CPU turns the fixing roller heater

ON a preset time after power-ON (after
CPU initialization).
The CPU assumes a fixing unit error
when the upper fiing roller does not
reach 172°C (187'C for initial warm-
up) within 200 seconds after the fixing
healer is turned ON.
When the upper fixing roller temperature
reaches 172OC (187°C for initial warm-
up temperature control], the READY
signal f/RDY) is output to the video
controller.
After the /RDY signal is output, 172°C
