Messages Relating to BD disc and DVD disc

The following messages appear on the TV screen in case the disc you tried to playback is not appropriate or the operation
is not correct.
Error message
Cannot play.
Incompatible disc.
Cannot operate.

Cause
Block noise may appear in fast-moving
scenes due to the characteristics of digital
image compression technology.
The sound or image may not be output
properly when playing back a copyright-
protected disc.
The RCA stereo cable is not connected
between the receiver and the BD player.
The audio plugs are dirty.
The surface of the disc is dirty.
The disc is damaged or dirty.
Cause
The network cable is not connected
properly.
The wrong cable is being used, such as a
modular cable.
The broadband router or modem is not
properly connected.
The broadband router or modem is not
turned on.
The network settings are not correct.
The network cable is not connected
properly.
The USB memory device is not
connected properly.
The BD disc does not support BD-LIVE.
"BD Internet Access" is set to "Prohibit".
Possible Error
The disc cannot be played back with this Player.
If you load a disc which cannot be played with this
Player (i.e. a scratched disc), or if you load a disc
upside down, this message will appear, and the disc
tray will automatically pop out.
Occurs if the loaded disc cannot be played because it
is a non-standard disc or scratched, etc.
Occurs if an operation is incorrect.
Remedy
Connect the RCA stereo cable between the receiver
and the BD player.
Clean the audio plugs.
Clean the disc surface.
Check the disc surface.
Remedy
Connect the network cable properly.
Use the network cable for connection.
Connect the broadband router and/or modem
properly.
Turn on the broadband router or modem.
Check "Communication Setup".
Connect the network cable properly.
Check that the USB memory device is connected to
the USB BD STORAGE/SERVICE terminal of the
BD player.
Check if the BD disc supports BD-LIVE.
Set "BD Internet Access" to "Permit" or "Limit".
Check the disc, and load it correctly.
Check the disc, and load it correctly.
Remove the disc.
