Insight Control Environment for BladeSystem delivers foundation management for HP BladeSystem
lifecycles, including hardware resource deployment, health monitoring, software version control,
performance monitoring, vulnerability, scanning and patch management.
Insight Control Environment for BladeSystem installs and licenses the following components by default
using a wizard-based integrated installer:

centralized control, reliable security, and energy savings for your BladeSystem infrastructure. iPMP
combines the total control of iLO 2 Advanced in the area of remote management with the energy
monitoring and control of the Insight Power Manager to deliver a robust solution capable of full remote
control and power management of ProLiant servers through a unified interface within HP Systems Insight
Manager.
HP Insight Control Environment for Linux (ICE-Linux) provides comprehensive discovery, imaging &
deployment, monitoring, and management for Linux-based ProLiant server platforms. Built on the
industry-leading HP Systems Insight Manager framework, this solution integrates open source technology
with experience leveraged from HP's Linux products in HP ICLE and HP XC Clusters, while providing
paths to the future with developing management technologies.
