Wheel
removal
Do not attempt
to remove
or replace a tire unless you have the equipment
and knowledge
to do so properly.
1. Block the wheels
securely.
2. Remove
the wheel
cap, and then remove the cotter
pin and loosen the
19 mm nut one turn.
3. Jack up the front
or rear of the lawn tractor,
and place safety
stands
under the frame.
Remove
the 19 mm nut, washer,
and wheel.
4. Rear wheel
only;
apply
a thin coat of grease to the rear axle (splined
position)
before
installing
the rear wheel.
5. Install
the wheel
in the reverse
order of removal.
6. Tighten
the 19 mm nut to the lower
specified
torque.
Wheel
nut torque:
5.5-6.5
kg-m (40-47
ft-lb)
7. Align
the nut to the next possible
cotter
pin hole while
tightening
the
nut just beyond
the lower specified
torque.
Install a new cotter
pin and
bend the ends as shown.
NOTE:
Do not align the cotter
pin holes in a position
where the wheel
nut
torque
is less than the specified
torque.
