OPERATION
Starting
the engine

Exhaust
gas contains
poisonous
carbon
monoxide
gas that
may cause
loss of consciousness
and lead to death.
Never
run the engine
in an enclosed
area.
Be sure to provide
adequate
ventilation.
1. Raise the rear body, turn the fuel valve ON and close the rear body.

2. Sit on the seat and check
that
the parking
brake
lever
is set, the
transmission
is in neutral
and the P.T.O. lever is in the OFF (Disengag-
ed) position.
3. Move the throttle
lever to the START (CHOKE) position.
NOTE:
When the engine is warm or the air temperature
is high, move the
throttle
to SLOW.
