Purpose Operation test/Check
Function Used to check the operation of the display, LCD in
(Purpose) the operation panel, and control circuit.

The LCD is changed as shown below. (The contrast changes
every 2sec from the current level to MAX
level. During this period, each LED is lighted.

Function Used to check the operation of the heater lamp
(Purpose) and the control circuit.
Section Fixing (Fusing)

Operation/Procedure
1) Select the number corresponding to the target of operation
check with 10-key.
2) Press [START] key.
The load selected in procedure 1 performs ON/OFF operation.
Press [CUSTOM SETTINGS] key to stop the operation of the
load.
The ON/OFF operation of the selected heater lamp is
repeated every 500ms five times.

(Purpose) and the control circuit.
Section Optical (Image scanning)

Operation/Procedure
1) Select the number corresponding to the target of operation
check with 10-key.
2) Press [START] key.
The load selected in procedure 1 turns ON for 10sec.
Press [CUSTOM SETTINGS] key to stop the operation.
The copy lamp or CIS is turned on for 10sec and turned off.
NOTE: CIS: only when the DSPF is installed.
