Using Caller ID

Caller ID (CID) and Caller Name ID (CNID) are
optional subscription services provided by
your telephone service provider. These fea-
tures supply incoming caller identification
information that displays on your handset.
Call display with Caller ID/ Name
If the number of the caller is saved in your
directory, you will see their name, and if you
have assigned a caller picture (CID picture)
to that caller, this will also be displayed.

The following displays in place of the

External, if no number is transmitted.

Unavailable, if the caller has not
arranged Calling Line Identification.

Display with CID
If you have CID, then the name that is regis-
tered with your network provider for the
caller's number will also be displayed. If the
number of the caller is stored in your direc-
tory, the CID display is replaced by the corre-
sponding directory entry.
