Configuring Double VLAN Tagging

Beginning in Privileged EXEC mode, use the following commands to
configure an interface to send and accept frames with double VLAN tagging.

Configuring VLANs
Purpose
Enter global configuration mode.
Enter interface configuration mode for the specified
interface. The
and number, for example tengigabitethernet 1/0/3.
You can also specify a range of interfaces with the interface
range command, for example, interface range
tengigabitethernet 1/0/8-12 configures interfaces 8, 9, 10,
11, and 12.
Enable Double VLAN Tunneling on the specified
interface.
Exit to global configuration mode
Configure the EtherType to use for interfaces with
double VLAN tunneling enabled.

• 802.1Q — Configures the EtherType as 0x8100.
• vman — Configures the EtherType as 0x88A8.
• custom — Custom configures the EtherType for the
DVLAN tunnel. The value must be 0-65535.
Exit to Privileged EXEC mode.
Display all interfaces enabled for Double VLAN Tunneling
Display detailed information about Double VLAN

Tunneling for the specified interface or all interfaces.
