HP Environmental Sensor for Remote Monitored PDUsThe HP Environmental Sensor
collets temperature and humidity information in the rack and can be monitored via the
local LCD display or remotely using Telnet or a standard web interface. The sensor can
also monitor the status of two user supplied contact devices.
Hot installable and hot swappable
User selectable alarm thresholds
Measure temperature from 32oF to 158oF (0oC to 70oC) with an accuracy of
±3.6oF (±2oC)
Measures relative humidity from 10% to 90% with an accuracy of ±5%
Supports normally open and normally closed contact devices
NOTE: The HP Environmental Sensor comes with a 6 foot RJ45-RJ45 cable and can be
mounted in various locations within the rack using the supplied Velcro strips or
mounting screw. RJ45 cables up to 30 feet (9.1m) long may be used.
NOTE: One environmental sensor may be installed per HP Remote Monitored PDU
