Duplex Printing

Duplex Printing System
This printer feeds paper for duplex printing as indicated in the following
illustration. This printer feeds paper for duplex printing as indicated in the
following illustration. As shown, when making 2-sided [duplex] copies,
each sheet of paper is temporarily ejected onto the face-down tray (5), from
where it is then refed back (6) into the printer for printing on the reverse
side and final ejection onto the face-down tray (12).

Do not touch the paper as it is being transported through this process,
as doing so can be the cause of paper jams as well as malfunction of the
printer itself.
ote
The duplex printing mode which lets you automatically print onto both
sides of the paper comes standard with this printer. If you do Not want to
print on both sides of the paper, select OFF (duplex printing disabled) as
the setting for this mode.
The default setting for the duplex printing mode is OFF.
