TROUBLESHOOTING
For your safety, turn vacuum cleaner off and unplug power cord before
attempting to resolve problems.
NOTICE: Thermal Cut Off
This vacuum cleaner has a special thermostat that protects the vacuum in case of motor overheating.
If the vacuum suddenly shuts off proceed as follows:
1) Push the power switch to off and unplug the vacuum.
2) Check the vacuum for a possible source of overheating such as a full dust cup, a blocked hose or clogged filter. If these conditions are found, fix them and
wait at least 30 minutes before attempting to use the vacuum.
3) After the 30 minute period, plug the vacuum back in and turn on the switch. If the vacuum still does not work, call the Electrolux customer service helpline.

SOLUTION
• Push power switch to turn vacuum on. Page 8
• See above Thermal cut-off warning for instructions
• Empty dust cup, clean and/or change filter.
• If picking up fine dust, the dust cup may not look full, but a fine substance
tends to reduce suction when it blocks air flow through the filter and
screen. Refer to page 10 and 11 for filter maintenance. Make sure filter,
screen and dust cup are installed properly.
• Remove clogs from the hose that restrict the air flow.Page 12 and 13
• Clear blockage from hose/valve assembly. Page 12 and 13.
• Make sure air path selector knob is turned to 'FLOOR' setting. Page 8
• Replace a worn, cut or out of shape belt. Page 12 and 13.
• Turn carpet height selector to another setting.
• For bare floors step on brush roll pedal to turn brush roll OFF. For carpet,
turn brush roll ON. Page 9
• Empty dust cup, clean and/or change filter.

SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS
Para su seguridad, apague la aspiradora y desenchufe el cable de
alimentación antes de intentar resolver algún problema.
AVISO: Interrupción térmica
Esta aspiradora tiene un termostato especial que la protege en caso de que se sobrecaliente el motor.
Si la aspiradora se apaga súbitamente haga lo siguiente:
1) Presione el interruptor de corriente para apagar y desconecte la aspiradora.
2) Revise la aspiradora para detector una probable causa de sobrecalentamiento, como un cubo guardapolvo lleno, un cubo guardapolvo lleno, una manguera
obstruida o un filtro tapado. Si descubre estas condiciones, arréglelas y espere por lo menos 30 minutos antes de intentar utilizar la aspiradora.
3) Después del período de 30 minutos, vuelva a conectar la aspiradora y ponga el interruptor en la posición de encendido. Si la aspiradora sigue sin funcionar,
llame a la línea de ayuda de servicio al cliente de Electrolux.
PROBLEMA

SOLUCIÓN

• Si se aspira polvo fino, es probable que el cubo guardapolvo no parezca
