6 Contacts

You can save names and phone numbers (contacts) both in the phone's memory
and in the SIM card's memory.
You may save up to 500 names with numbers, addresses and text notes about
each name in the phone's memory. The number of names that can be saved
depends both on the length of the names and the number and length of the
phone numbers and text items.
The phone supports SIM cards that can save up to 250 names and phone
numbers. Names and numbers saved in the SIM card's memory, are indicated
by this icon:

• SELECTING SETTINGS FOR CONTACTS

Press Contacts, scroll to Settings, and press Select.

Select Memory in use to set the memory, either SIM card or phone, that you
want to use for your contacts. To recall names and numbers from both
memories for Contacts, select Phone and SIM.

Contacts view selects how the names (and numbers) appear in Contacts.

Memory status indicates how much memory is available for additional contacts.
• SAVING NAMES AND PHONE NUMBERS
(ADD CONTACTS)
Names and numbers will be saved in the memory selected above.

Press Contacts and select Add contact.

Key in the name and press OK. See "Traditional text input" on page 34.

Key in the phone number, and press OK. To key in the numbers, see "Making a
call" on page 29.

When the name and number are saved, press Done.
Tip: Quick save a number (without a name) in the start screen: key in the
phone number, then press and hold Options.
Saving multiple numbers and text items per name
You can save different types of phone numbers and short text items per name in
the phone's internal memory for Contacts.
