When the card is almost all the way into the slot, push
firmly, but gently, to ensure a firm connection with the
computer. Do not force the card into position.

Removing a PCI Express Card

Stop the PCI Express Card by clicking the Safely Remove
Hardware icon on the System tray. After the PCI Express
Card is stopped, it is safe to remove. Press the card until it
pops out, and then remove it.

Using the Bridge Media Adapter Slot

Your computer is equipped with a Bridge Media Adapter
Slot, which supports the use of Memory Stick™ or Memory
Stick™ PRO media, Secure Digital™ (SD™) Cards,
SmartMedia™ or xD-Picture Cards. This media can be used
with a variety of digital products: digital music players,
cellular phones, PDAs, digital cameras, digital video
camcorders, etc.
NOTE

Inserting memory media

The following instructions apply to all media devices.

Turn the media so that the contacts (metal areas) are face
down.

Push the media into the adapter until it locks in place.
Using the Bridge Media Adapter Slot
Do not use the Copy Disk function for this type of media. To
copy data from one media to another, use the drag-and-drop
feature of Windows.
