The TP-260 and TP-1610 do not provide an RS-232 port.
To establish a serial communications link with the gateway using the RS-232 port:
Connect the RS-232 port to your PC (For the V7122 / TP-1610, see

Use a serial communication software (for example, HyperTerminal

communications port settings:
Baud Rate:
Data bits: 8
Parity: None
Stop bits: 1
Flow control: None
After resetting the gateway, the information, shown in
terminal screen. This information can be used to determine possible V7122
initialization problems, such as incorrectly defined (or undefined) local IP address,
subnet mask, and the like.
