INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS C-TM-IMP
2000-2005 CHEVROLET IMPALA TRAK-MOUNT KIT

Ratcheting Wrench
Metric Socket Set
Torx Bit Set
HARDWARE:

¼" x ¾" hex head bolt
8
¼" Serrated nut
6
¼" x 1" Hex head lag bolts
1
32" Trak mount
SUB ASSEMBLY:
1. MOUNT TRAK TO HUMP BRACKETS.
• Determine location that Trak will land on transmission hump for the specific
application.
• With Trak in necessary location, measure Front and Rear Hump Brackets in relation
to Trak.
• Bolt Trak to Hump Brackets, using measurements taken in previous step
Note: There are 2 different sides to the Trak Plate. It is recommended to mount Hump brackets
to side of Trak Plate that has ¼" hardware slots closer together, to better accept equipment,
(consoles, control heads, etc)
• Slide (6) ¼-20 x ¾" Hex Head Bolts into ¼" Hardware Slots.
• With bolts in Trak, position Hump brackets.
• There is a left and right side to the Rear Hump Brackets. Top of brackets will be
parallel to the transmission hump.
• Attach ¼" serrated nuts and tighten.

- Page 2 INSTALLATION: 1. REMOVE SEATS: • Remove rear seat base torx bolts. • Slide seat to rear most position. • Seats do not have to come out of vehicle, they will just need to be tilted out of way to place Trak-Mount assembly. Be careful of wire plugs if vehicle has power seats. 2.
