ROUTINE
• Replace (warm engine before
draining). (See NOTE on page 6-7.)
• Replace at initial 600 mi (1,000 km) or
1 month, and thereafter every
8,000 mi (13,000 km) or 12 months.
• Clean with compressed air.
• Replace if necessary.
• Check hose for cracks or damage.
• Replace if necessary.
• Replace coolant every 24 months. #3
• Check operation, pad wear, and fluid
leakage. (See NOTE on page 6-7.)
• Correct if necessary.
• Check operation.
• Adjust or replace cable.
• Apply chain lube thoroughly. #1
• Check operation and free play.
• Adjust the throttle cable free play if
necessary.
• Lubricate the throttle grip housing and
cable.
