ADJUSTING RECEPTION
If your positioner accepts the command
"GOTO X", select pre-positioning mode;
if not, skip to the following paragraph.
Use the graph supplied with your
positioner to calculate the azimuth of one
of your satellites. This depends on the
latitude and longitude of the location.
Press the Info key and indicate this value
in tenths of a degree East or West.
Press
dish.
Manually position your dish to obtain
maximum reception levels and
signal/noise ratio. Then lock the dish
in position. Go to the "Adding a satellite"
paragraph.
MOTORISED DISH WITHOUT
Activate the "Go to position 0"
command, to position your dish towards
the south, or activate the "Scan with
manual stop" command and position
your motorised dish at "0" using the
buttons (East or West). Position your dish
in a southerly direction. Use a compass
taking into account the magnetic drift of
the location. Lock your dish in place.
Activate the "Go to preset position"
command. Adjust the position of your
dish using the movement buttons. When
the signals are at maximum, validate the
position with the

to preposition your motorised
PREPOSITIONING
button.
"Scan with auto stop" mode can
also be chosen. After pressing one of
the
buttons, the receiver stops the
motor automatically as soon as there are
satisfactories signal level and signal/noise
ratio.
ADDING A SATELLITE
To adjust the position for another
satellite, add it in the Antenna menu, and
adjust the position in the "Positioning
antenna" menu. When correctly
positioned, press the
memorise it.
The "Recalculate" command can then
be reactivated if your dish positioning
system supports this command.
All memorised satellite positions will
be adjusted.
