To record programmes
For future programme
1 Load a disc which can be recorded.
2 Select "Timer Recording" by
press
"REC MENU Timer Programming" appears.
3 Set the items by

Your programme is entered.
If you want to turn off the power, press the
ON/STANDBY button. (When a starting time
comes, the recorder turns on and records your
programme.)
For current programme
1 Load a disc.

3 To stop, press
For external source (e.g. VHS tape)
1 Connect an external source device (e.g. VTR) to
the input jacks of this recorder.
INPUT SEL.
2 Press
repeatedly to select the input
according to your connection.
Change the indicator in the front panel display, "AV1"
for AV1(TV) socket, "AV2" for the AV2(EXT) socket . . .
3 Start play on the source device.

4 Press
to start recording.
STOP
5 To stop, press
If a message appears when you load a disc
A new disc may have to be initialized. Execute
initializing of the disc.
