5. Radiator fan motor (test 2)
S Disconnect the thermo switch coupler.
S Set the main switch to "ON".
S Connect the brown
with a jumper lead
S Does the radiator fan motor turn?
YES
6. Thermo switch
S Remove the thermo switch from the radiator.
S Connect the pocket tester (
mo switch as shown.

S Immerse the thermo switch in a container
filled with coolant

NOTE:
Make sure that the thermo switch terminals
do not get wet.
S Place a thermometer
S Slowly heat the coolant, then let it cool to the
specified temperature as indicated in the
table.
S Check the thermo switch for continuity at the
temperatures indicated in the table.

S Never subject the thermo switch to
strong shocks. If the thermo switch is
dropped, replace it.
