Using several handsets

Changing a handset's internal number

A handset is automatically assigned the lowest unassigned number when it is regis-
tered. You can change the internal number of all registered handsets (1–6).

You will hear the error tone if you assign an internal number twice (a fall-
ing tone sequence). Repeat the process with an unused number.
Transferring a call to another handset
You can transfer (connect) an external call to another handset.

Instead of announcing the call you can also press the "end call" key a

immediately. If the internal user does not answer or is busy, the call will
come back to you automatically (Recall appears in the display).

Internal enquiry calls

You can call an internal user (e.g. to consult with him or her) while speaking with an
external caller. You are automatically reconnected to the external user when you end
this internal call.

Open list of handsets
Open the menu.
Confirm. The list of handsets is displayed.

The current number flashes. Select the handset,
enter the new internal number (1–6) and confirm.
The handset's old number is overwritten.
Now press the display key to confirm the entry.
Long press (back to idle status).
Open list of handsets.
The external caller hears the wait melody.
Select the handset or Call All and confirm. When the
internal user answers, announce the external call.
Press the end call key. The external call is transferred
to the other handset.
Open list of handsets.
The external caller hears the wait melody.
Select the handset and confirm.
Ending a enquiry call:
Press the display key. You are reconnected to the
external caller.
