First steps
Display in idle status
Once the phone is registered and the time
set, the idle display is shown, as in this exam-
ple. If the answering machine is activated,
the answering machine icon
played in the header.
The following is displayed after successful
registration:

The strength of the reception signal
between the base station and handset:
– Poor to good: Ò Ñ i Ð
– No reception: | flashes
u

Battery charge status:

– = e V U (dead to full)
– = flashes red: battery almost dead

Your answering machine is set with a prerecorded announcement, however,
you can customize that announcement for your own requirements

The display of the calendar in idle status can be activated or deactivated

Setting up area codes

Before you can return a call from the Calls list (
local area code of the area in which your phone is being used. If your phone is
in a multiple area code area, you must also store the extra codes for that area.
