    TD-8811 ADSL2+ Modem Router User Guide 3.5 DHCP IP Reservation When you specify a reserved IP address for a PC on the LAN, that PC will always receive the same IP address each time when it accesses the DHCP server. Reserved IP addresses should be assigned to servers that require permanent IP settings.

Authentication Method: Choose a method of authentication, AUTO, PAP, CHAP, or MSCHAP. MTU: The default MTU value is 1480 Bytes. It is not recommended that you change the default value unless required by your ISP.

WAN MAC Address - This field displays the current MAC address of the WAN port. If your ISP requires you to register the MAC address, please enter the correct MAC address into this field in XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX format (X is any hexadecimal digit).

The MAC Address Filtering feature allows you to control the access of users on your local network basing on their MAC addresses.
