Trouble Shooting

Problem
The camera does
not work.
The image can
not be taken
when I press the
shutter release
button.
The fl ash does
not fi re.
Possible Cause
The power is off.
The battery is inserted
incorrectly.
The battery power is
low or drained.
The camera is not in
capture mode.
You did not press the
shutter release button
down enough.
The memory card is
full.
The camera is still
saving the last image
you took.
The fl ash is still
recharging.
The battery power is
low.
You did not insert a
memory card.
The battery power is
low.
The fl ash is off.
Solution
Press the power button to
turn it on.
Reload the battery
correctly.
Replace battery with a new
one or charge the
battery. See Page 12.
Press the mode switch to
capture mode.
Press the shutter release
button down fully.
Replace with another
memory card, upload the
images to a computer or
delete the images.
Wait until image storing of
the camera is fi nished.
Wait for a few seconds
until the recharging is
completed.
Replace battery with a new
one or charge the
battery. See Page 12.
Insert a memory card.
Replace battery with a new
one or charge the
battery. See Page 12.
Switch to other fl ash mode.
