Hot steam
Hot accessories and
ovenware
Overheated oil or fat
Risk of short circuit.
Do not trap leads of electrical appliances in the hot
oven door or pull them over the hot hob. The cable
insulation could melt.
Risk of fire.
Never place flammable objects on the hob or store
them in the cooking compartment.
Never open the oven door if there is smoke inside.
Switch off the appliance. Pull out the mains plug or
switch off the appliance at the circuit breaker in the
fuse box.
Risk of scalding.
Open the oven door carefully. Hot steam may escape.
Never pour water into the hot cooking compartment.
This will produce hot steam. Keep children at a safe
distance.
Risk of burns.
Never prepare food containing large quantities of
drinks with a high alcohol content. Alcoholic vapours
can catch fire in the cooking compartment. Only use
small quantities of drinks with a high alcohol content
and open the oven door carefully.
Risk of burns.
Never remove ovenware or accessories from the
cooking compartment without an oven cloth or oven
gloves.
Risk of fire.
Never leave fat or oil unattended when it is being
heated. Overheated oil and fat can ignite very quickly.
Never try to put out burning oil or fat by pouring water
on it. Immediately cover the cookware with a lid or
plate to extinguish the flames. Switch off the hotplate
and allow the cookware on the hotplate to cool down.
