1 Press [SOUND] several times to select the mode.
≥ The selected mode will only be displayed on the main
unit.
2 While the selected mode is displayed
Press [2, 1] and select the desired setting.
EQUALIZER
You can select sound quality settings.
FLAT
Cancel (no effect is added).
HEAVY
Adds punch to rock.
CLEAR
Clarifies higher sounds.
SOFT
For background music.
SUBWOOFER LEVEL
You can adjust the amount of bass.
1 (Weakest effect) to 4 (Strongest effect)
≥The setting you make is retained, and recalled every
time you play the same type of source.
H.BASS
You can enhance low-frequency sound so that heavy
bass sound can be heard clearly, even if the acoustics of
your room are not optimal.
≥The setting you make is retained, and recalled every
time you play the same type of source.
WHISPER-MODE SURROUND
You can enhance the surround effect for low volume
sound. (Convenient for late night viewing.)
CLEAR-MODE DIALOG
You can make the dialogue stand out from the
background noise and also hear sound as if it is coming
from the centre of the TV.
DUAL (“D-IN”, “ARC” only)
You can select to suit the type of audio on the main unit.
M1
M2
M1rM2 (stereo audio)
(Only works with Dolby Dual Mono)
≥“M1” or “M2” is not available if “On” is selected in
“Digital Audio Input”. (

AUTO STEREO (“FM” only)
If noise is excessive, you can select the type of FM radio
audio. Depending on the broadcast system, stereo or
monaural will be selected.
MONO
The sound becomes monaural.
≥ The sound effects/modes may not be available or have no effect with some
sources.
≥ You may experience a reduction in sound quality when these sound
effects/modes are used with some sources. If this occurs, turn the sound
effects/modes off.
