The Cooktop Light
The Top Light switch is located below the upper control panel Push the
turn the light OFE
right side of the switch to turn the light ON. Push the left side of the switch to
TO replace the fluorescent lamp and/or starter:
Remove the screws and metal
trim that supports the top of the light
cover. The glass is heavy. Hold it
securely.
J. Grasp the fluorescent
lamp at
both ends. Roll bottom of the lamp
towards the front until both ends
come out of the receptacles.
Replace with
a
24-inch, 18 or 20-
watt cool-white fluorescent lamp
If starter needs replacement,
push
in and turn to remove and
replace.
2. With both hands, pull top of
Cover towards you and lift it out of
bottom support trim.

With
both hands, carefully fit
glass light cover into the bettor , ,
metal support trim. Replace the
support trim and screw
Turn the electric power back on
the main power supply
