Registering Gigaset A34 handsets manually
You can register up to three Gigaset A34 handsets on your Gigaset A345 Inter-
nal calls cannot be made.
After registration, the handset reverts to idle status and you hear the confir-
mation tone.
Gigaset A34 handset on Gigaset A base345
Manual registration is necessary if:
N
automatic registration was unsuccessful,
N
the handset supplied has been replaced,
N
the base has been restored to its factory settings.
Step 1:
REGISTER HS
BASE
Step 2:
Place handset on the base.
Gigaset A34 handset on other GAP bases
Step 1:
Set the base to a status where it is ready for registration (see operating manual
for the base).
Step 2:
REGISTER HS
GAP 1
Open the menu.
Select the menu item and confirm.
Confirm. *--*--* appears in the display.
Open the menu.
Select the menu item and confirm.
Select and confirm, e.g.
appears in the display.
PIN
Enter the registration PIN for the GAP base
that is ready for registration (e.g. "0000").
Confirm.
