Display Indicators – Voice Mode and General
The display window can display up to eight lines of characters plus one
row of special display indicators or icons. The display window in standby
Voice Mode:

Voice Mail

Digital
Off Hook
Call Lists
Phonebook
General (Voice and Data)
Signal Strength
All Alerts Off
Some Alerts Off Ringer and/or message alert muted.
Vibrate Alert
Battery Level
Scroll Icon

Displays when a PCS voice mail message
has been received and stored
Displays when a PCS text message has
been received and stored
Indicates digital voice network available;
if not displayed, phone is operating on
analog network
Conversation
Dialed, received and missed calls listed
View local names and numbers
Six levels indicate the strength of the re-
ceived signal–signal indicator for network
on which phone is currently registered
All audio alerts are muted
Example: if ring volume=0, this icon
appears
Vibrate alert on (available only if vibrate
battery installed)
Three levels indicate the charge level (low,
medium, high)
More menu information up/down in menu
screen; in some cases, move left/right
