When connecting or disconnecting the cord, be
absolutely sure to take hold of the molded part of
the plug (and not the cord itself) and proceed.

ACC power lead
To ACC power, +12 V DC.
When connected to the lead colored in dark blue of the
Panasonic CD receiver or having an AUX-IN input terminal,
instead of connecting to the ACC power source, the power of
unit can be linked to that of receiver.
Battery lead
To the battery, continuous +12 V DC.
Connect the battery power cord to a connector that is
always supplied with power from the car battery.
Ground lead
To a clean, bare metallic part of car chassis.
Caution:
This product is designed to operate with a 12 V DC, negative ground battery system.
To prevent damage to the unit, be sure to follow the connection diagram below.

Remove approximately 5 mm of protective covering from the ends of the leads before connecting.
Do not insert the power connector into the unit until the wiring is completed.

Be sure to insulate any exposed wires from a possible short-circuit from the car chassis. Bundle all
cables and keep cable terminals free from touching any metal parts.
Remember, if your car has a drive computer or a navigation computer, the data of its memory may be
erased when the battery terminals are disconnected.
Note:
Refer to the operating instructions for the connected devices, in addition.
Select the monitor system (PAL/NTSC) to suit the type of DVD's disc you have inserted when connecting the
LCD monitor CY-VM1500EX.
The LCD monitor CY-VMR5800N is an RGB connection unit which has been designed especially only for
Panasonic mobile navigation system. This DVD player cannot be connected to the LCD monitor
CY-VMR5800N.
By performing this connection, remote control
signals can be received by the monitor unit.
(Do not connect the remote control signal receiver
when this connection has been performed.)
