to use the attachments
1 Always ensure there is water in the
tank. Refer to the main Steam
Station instructions.
2 It is necessary to prime the
attachment before use or after a
long pause to allow any
water/condensation in the tube to be
dispensed. It's best if you don't fit an
attachment when you do this. Hold
the attachment over a suitable
container such as a jug or basin.
(Placing a cloth in the bottom of the
container will help to stop splashing).
Wait until the green ready to steam
light on the steam station glows.
Release the steam safety lock by
moving it away from the steam
button, then press the steam button
and operate the attachment until all
the water is dispersed. Take care
as a very powerful jet of hot
water or steam will be
produced. The unit is now ready to
use.
3 Select an attachment and fit onto
the steam gun.
4 Make sure the green ready to steam
light on the steam station is glowing,
then press the steam button. As
soon as the button is released steam
will stop being produced.
Important Take care not to
get burnt by steam or hot
water coming out of the
attachment.
During use you may hear a slight
G
humming coming from the steam
station this means that the pump is
operating and passing water from
the tank to the boiler where the
steam is generated. This will be
accompanied by the red water tank
indicator glowing. Wait until the
green ready to steam light glows
before continuing to steam.
IMPORTANT
Before using any of the attachments
always carry out a test run on a
small area of the material that cannot
be seen to ensure there are no
adverse effects.
