Problem
Suggestion
Check the handset signal strength by moving
closer to a base station. For best results the
signal strength indicator should show three to five
bars, and the operating environment should be
unrestricted.
Depending on the environment from which you
are calling, such as a noisy area, a caller using a
DKT may experience echo if the volume control of
the handset is set at 10 or higher. You can lower
the volume using
or contact your authorized
dealer for a handset software upgrade.
Power the handset off and on or move closer to a
base station. It can take up to a minute for the full
display to appear.
Ensure that the handset is unlocked and check
the volume level. If the problem remains, the
handset is not locked onto a base station. Power
the handset off and on or move closer to the base
station.
Check the volume level. Consider dialing the
number and pressing
and waiting for dial tone.
