How your hot water dispenser works
Water is electricallyheated to a
brewing/cooking hot 190°F (88°C)
by a tank that mountsunder the
sink. A thermostatmaintains it at
this approximatetemperature.When
you turn the On/Off Cap, cold water
enters the bottom of the tank and
forces hot water out of the faucet.
The system is vented so the tank is
not pressurized,
