■ Connectivity settings

When you access an application that requires an Internet connection,
you are asked to select the connection (Internet access point) you want
to use.
In the
Select connection
tap Connect. Only available connections are shown. The connection that
you set as preferred appears at the top of the list. If you have not set the
preferred connection, the last used connection (if available) is shown first.
To define the connectivity settings, tap
Connectivity
settings.
In the
General
page, define the following settings:
Preferred connection
connection from the list.
Use without asking
— If you select this option, the Internet access point
that you selected in
you start an application requiring an Internet connection. In this case,
you do not need to confirm the connection.
On the
Idle times
page, select the time after which the Internet connection
ends automatically if the connection is not used. Use
for packet-switched data connections (such as GPRS),
for circuit-switched data calls (such as GSM data), and
connections created through a wireless local area network (WLAN)
access point.
Note: Time-based charges may apply to the Internet
connections. Check with your service provider, and adjust
the idle times accordingly.
Note: The network may also have idle timers that may cause
the Internet connection to break, regardless of the idle timers
of the device.
To use a connection automatically, select
settings
> General. Set the desired connection as
