HITRON CGN2 USER'S GUIDE
This displays the center frequency in Megahertz (MHz)
at which the CGN2 connects over the CABLE interface.
If you want the CGN2 to use a different center
frequency, enter it in the field and click Apply.
NOTE:
Do not change the frequency unless you have a
good reason to do so.
This displays the ID number of the channel on which the
upstream signal is to be transmitted. When an upstram
connection cannot be made on the specified channel,
the CGN2 attempts to connect on the next channel.
If you want the CGN2 to attempt to connect on a
different channel, enter it in the field and click Apply.
NOTE:
Do not change the channel unless you have a
good reason to do so.
This displays the actual frequency in Megahertz (MHz)
of each downstream data channel to which the CGN2 is
connected.
This displays the type of modulation that each
downstream channel uses.
downstream data channel to which the CGN2 is
connected, in dBmV (decibels above/below 1 millivolt).
This displays the Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) of each
downstream data channel to which the CGN2 is
connected, in dB (decibels).
This displays the frequency in Herz (Hz) of each
upstream data channel to which the CGN2 is connected.
This displays the bandwidth of each upstream data
channel to which the CGN2 is connected (in thousands
of symbols per second).
