    CONTROLS Choke (50 SX) The choke knob is fitted on the left of the carburetor. Activating the choke function frees an opening through which the engine can draw extra fuel. This results in a richer fuel-air mixture, which is needed for a cold start. Info If the engine is warm, the choke function must be deactivated.

    COOLING SYSTEM 14.1 Cooling system The water pump in the engine forces the coolant to flow. The pressure resulting from the warming of the cooling system is regulated by a valve in the radiator cap . This ensures that operating the vehicle at the specified coolant temperature will not result in a risk of malfunctions.

That means that an engine with a correctly set idle speed is easier to start than if the idle is set wrongly. Info The carburetor and its components are subject to increased wear caused by engine vibration.

    STANDARDS JASO FC JASO FC is a classification for a 2-stroke engine oil that was specifically developed for the extreme demands of racing. Thanks to first rate synthetic esters and specially designed additives, superb combustion is achieved even under extreme operating conditions.
