Memory Function The Ear Thermometer memory function stores the last measurement. This measurement will appear for approximately three seconds after turning the thermometer on and after it runs its built-in test. The ready display will then show after last reading appears. This feature allows you to compare your most recent measurement to the prior one. - Page 7 Safety 1st Forehead Strip Thermometer Important Notes • Commonly used for babies, young children or when it is difficult to take an oral or underarm temperature. • Product should be used indoors at room temperature 68 - 86°F (20-30°C). • Wait 30 minutes after eating, drinking, or exercising before taking temperature.

- Page 9 RECTAL USE: Commonly used for babies, young children or when it is difficult to take an oral or underarm temperature. Lubricate probe tip with a water-soluble lubricant or petroleum jelly. Gently insert the probe tip no more than 1/2 inch (1.3) cm into the rectum. Do not force the tip into the rectum if resistance is encountered.
