System Configuration

You will be asked to enter your access code before you can en-
ter this menu. The code is preset to 1234 from the factory.
(The code can be changed from the Parental Control menu. Re-
fer to page 31.)
Please note that many of these functions are the same as in the
"First Time Installation."

Channel Search

The Channel Search procedure can be performed in different
ways.
• If there are predefined channels, you can make an Automatic
or Manual Search.
• If no predefined channels are available you can only make a
Manual Search.
Please note, that before you start a search procedure you must
have a background picture from the satellite you intend to search
from. Refer to page 13.
• When you have got 1 LNB connected, intended for Sirius:
Select any of the preprogrammed channels and press OK to
start the search procedure.
• With 2 LNBs connected via a DiSEqC switch you can select
from which satellite to search.
• Also the alternative "All Satellites" is available which enables
you to search from all satellites (towards which you have LNBs
and antennas adjusted.)
Manual Search
When you perform a Manual Search you first need to enter some
parameters for the channel search to work.
The information you need to enter in this menu is available in
magazines covering satellite TV reception, on the Internet or from
your Service Provider.
Transponder frequency: Specify the frequency in GHz. If you
enter the wrong figure(s), erase with the
Polarization: Select Horizontal, Vertical, Circular left/right
Symbol rate (MSym/s): Enter with the numeric buttons. If you
enter the wrong figure(s), erase with the
FEC: Select "Auto" or any of the preprogrammed values.
Network Search: Select "Yes" if you want to search on all trans-
ponders used by your service provider.
Press OK to start searching for channels.
