The following modules provide quick steps for basic operations. D1600 Owner's Manual page references are included at the lower
left of each module:
Creating a new song:
SONG key Ô SelSong tab Ô Press New Ô Set SongType and MixerSet Ô OK

Naming a song:
SONG key Ô Press Rename Ô Press ClearAll Ô Use buttons in display to change characters Ô Use < > buttons to move cursor Ô OK

Selecting songs:
1. SONG key Ô With D1600 stopped at current song beginning: Hold STOP and press REW 1 or more times to go to previous song(s) Ô Hold STOP and press FF
2 or more times to go to next song(s).
2. Or...SONG key Ô SelSong tab Ô Press song number Ô Rotate DIAL to go to new songs
3. Or...SONG key Ô SelSong tab Ô Press > at left of song Ô Rotate DIAL or press arrows to move through song list Ô OK

Moving to the beginning or end of a song:
From a point within the song, hold STOP and press REW 1x, or press IN/LOC1 key if not assigned to another location / To move to the end of a song: From a point
within the song, hold STOP and press FF 1x.

Using REW and FF keys during song playback:
While song is playing, press either key 1x to rewind or fast forward continuously Ô Press PLAY key to stop REW or FF and continue play from that point.

Connecting instruments and assigning inputs:
