Using the Wildcard function
A single word containing a wildcard (" ? " or " * ") can be input.
Headwords which contain the input word in their definitions can be
investigated in further detail using this word.
Use
to enter " ? ".
This is used in place of a single character.
Use
to enter " * ".
This is used in place of one or more characters.

Encyclopedic Search

The unit will find the Encyclopedia articles which contain the word(s) you
enter.

Select "Encyclopedic Search" and then

* You can enter up to seven words.
This method will find the articles which
contain all the entered words.
A space can be entered by using
