WHAT TO DO IF...

WARNING!
Before troubleshooting, disconnect
the mains plug from the mains
socket.
Only a qualified electrician or com-
petent person must do the trouble-
shooting that is not in this manual.
There are some sounds during nor-
mal use (compressor, refrigerant
circulation).
Problem
The appliance is
noisy
The compressor op-
erates continually
There is too much
frost and ice
It is too warm in the
freezer
Possible cause
The appliance is not sup-
ported properly
The thermostatic control is
set incorrectly
Doors are not shut properly
or do not close tightly
The door has been opened
too frequently
Large quantities of food to
be frozen were put in at the
same time
Food placed in the appli-
ance was too warm
The room temperature is
too high.
Products are not wrapped
properly
Doors are not shut properly
or do not close tightly

may be set incorrectly
Temperature regulator may
be set incorrectly
The door does not close
tightly or it is not shut prop-
erly
Large quantities of food to
be frozen were put in at the
same time
The appliance operates discontinu-
ously, so the stopping of compres-
sor does not mean being no cur-
rent. That is why you must not
touch the electrical parts of the ap-
pliance before breaking the circuit.
Solution
Check if the appliance
stands stable (all the four
feet should be on the floor)
Set a warmer temperature
Check if the doors close well
and the gaskets are undam-
aged and clean
Do not leave the door open
longer than necessary
Wait some hours and then
check the temperature again
Allow food to cool to room
temperature before storing
Decrease the room temper-
ature
Wrap the products better
Check if the doors close well
and the gaskets are undam-
aged and clean
Set a warmer temperature
Set a lower temperature
Check if the door closes well
and the gasket is undam-
aged and clean
Insert smaller quantities of
food to be frozen at any one
time.
