CONNECTING # Connect the line cord to the telephone and to the telephone socket. # Lift the handset and check for a dial tone. WALL MOUNTING Check for hidden cables, water pipes, etc., before drilling holes. DIRECT MEMORY (M1-M3) The telephone has 3 direct dial memories. When a phone number is stored into these memories you need to press the M1 - M3 buttons only to make the call. STORING DIRECT MEMORIES P Lift the handset and press STORE button (ignore any sound in the earpiece). P Select the desired direct memory button M1 - M3 by pressing the corresponding button.
VOLUME CONTROL The volume level in the earpiece can be increased or decreased using the volume buttons on the base unit during a call. ADJUSTABLE RINGER There are three different ringing tones available and three different volume settings for each ringer P Lift the handset and press the STORE button .
# Check telephone operation in master telephone socket. There may be a fault with the line in which case contact your Network Operator. # Check that total of REN numbers does not exceed 4 (the PHONE EASY has a REN of 1.) # If the telephone does not ring, lift and replace the handset (the ringer may be programmed off).
