The term “power tool” in all of the warnings listed below refers to your mains operated (corded) power tool or battery operated (cordless) power tool.

    Properly • Do not force the sander; let the tool do the work at a reasonable speed. Overloading will occur if too much pressure is applied and the motor slows resulting in inefficient sanding and possible damage to the sander motor.

    Wear safety goggles, a dust mask and ear defenders.The whole sanding pad must rest on the workpiece. Switch the sander on while it is placed on the workpiece and move it over the surface to be smoothed in a circular motion.

    Dust extraction A vacuum cleaner adaptor can be used to connect an ordinary household vacuum cleaner to the sander. The adaptor (11) can be fitted into the dust extraction port (9). (Fig. E) Maintenance WARNING.
