4. Remove the bolt 3. Raise the
rear end of the fuel tank and
slide it backward.
(For California)
5. Inspect the fuel hose for dam-
age and fuel leakage. If any
defects are found, the fuel
hose must be replaced.
NOTE: Lifting up the fuel tank too
much can result in the fuel hose
becoming bent or twisted. Lift the
fuel tank as little as possible and
disconnect the fuel hose. The fuel
tank in the above illustration is
lifted to show the fuel hose and
coupler clearly.
