Main switch/steering lock

ON
OFF
LOCK
The main switch/steering lock controls
the ignition and lighting systems, and is
used to lock the steering. The various
positions are described below.
ON
All electrical systems are supplied with
power, and the headlight, meter light-
ing, taillight and position lights come
on, and the engine can be started. The
key cannot be removed.
OFF
All electrical systems are off. The key
can be removed.

INSTRUMENT AND CONTROL FUNCTIONS

LOCK
The steering is locked, and all electrical
systems are off. The key can be re-
moved.
To lock the steering

1. Push.
2. Release.
3. Turn.
Turn the handlebars all the way to the
left or right.
1. Push the key in from the "OFF" po-
sition, release it, and then turn it to
EAU10660
"LOCK".
2. Remove the key.

To unlock the steering
Insert the key and turn it to "OFF".
Never turn the key to "LOCK" while
the motorcycle is moving.
